Museum of Mountain Culture
The Castle of Sestola is the picturesque setting of the Museum of Mountain Culture. Inside, in the rooms once used as stables and archives, are collected at 1500 pieces. From an idea of the city hall of Sestola, the museum opened the firts rooms to the public a couple years later in 1986. Since then it has been in continuous construction: materials are collected mainly through donations, grants and loans.
In the inside are recreated craft shops that once could be found in the mountain area of Cimone. Are now complete the workshops of the shoemaker, the carpenter and the blacksmith.
To this are added reproductions of the kitchen, the bedroom, the stable, the hall of frame and sewing.
Have been preserved and exposed in the same way some evidence of the progress of the tourist sector in the area. And in fact is possible to admire old skis, snowshoes, sleds, bobs and some old-fashioned hotel materials.

Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum
Opened in 1995 in Sestola, are her collected 120 pieces of the collection Eduard Thoenes. The mechanical musical instruments have the characteristic of being able to play a melody, previously recorded or written on special supports, without human intervention. The exposed instruments shown the evolution of the music techics from 1600 to today. Interesting is the fact that tourists can actually listen to the sound produced by these instruments since more than half of the pieces is fully functioning.

Park-Museum of Stone Sculpture
In the historic center of Fanano and in neighboring localities can be admired contemporary art sculptures realized in the town since 1983 by artists from around the world in occasion of the Symposium of Stone Sculpture. Today there are 234 works of art admirable for free. For small groups can also be arrange some guided tours.
Mummy of Roccapelago Museum
Between October 2009 and March 2011 during the restoration of the Parish Church of the Conversion of St. Paul in Roccapelago (locality in the territory of Pievepelago) was found a crypt below the church. Inside of the crypt has been discovered the rest of a mass burial of about 281 people including men, women and children. Probably it was the entire old town inhabitants.
Among these, 60 bodies have suffered a spontaneous process of mummification.
With the intervention of archaeologists and anthropologists has been possible to recover the bodys and study them. Today the crypt can be visited with a guided tour. The museum has already opened this past summer, and given the significant number of visitors, will be officially opened in the spring of 2015.
